What We Do
Founded on the idea that one’s race/ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender should not hinder one’s path to becoming an educator and leader, the DC understands these identities should be recognized as essential and crucial components to developing diverse and representative communities in independent and international schools. In addition, we believe that underrepresented individuals deserve their own organization that values the unique talent and perspectives they bring to schools.
As a facilitator between underrepresented educators and partner organizations, the Diversity Collective works to bridge the current diversity gap seen at independent and international schools around the world.
For our candidates, we provide a collaborative and accessible database of teaching and leadership positions in schools that have demonstrated a commitment to fostering an inclusive school culture.
For our partner schools, we expedite the process of finding talented educators from diverse backgrounds and facilitate personal connections between the schools and the candidates.
